MCI Is Now More Accessible to Patients from Russia: Services Can Now Be Paid for in Rubles

At MCI, we believe that the journey to receiving medical care in Spain should begin with clear solutions, not complications. That is why we continue to expand our services for Russian-speaking patients and remove administrative barriers before they even arrive in Spain.

A cooperation agreement has been signed with the Russian company MCI. The agreement was signed by Anna Kuzmina, MCI Coordinator, and Oleg Andreev, founder of MCI in Russia.

One of the key outcomes of this cooperation is the possibility of paying for MCI services in Russian rubles. Patients from Russia no longer need to look for a foreign bank card, purchase euros, or arrange international money transfers on their own.

While still in Russia, patients and their families can enter into an agreement with MCI in Russia and pay in rubles for a medical second opinion, assistance in selecting the most appropriate hospital, and other MCI services.

“For us, it is important to make Spanish healthcare more accessible not only from a medical perspective, but also from an organizational one. Patients should be able to contact us, receive the support they need, and not have to worry about how to arrange payment for our services from Russia,” says Anna Kuzmina.

The cooperation with MCI in Russia has become part of the development of MCI’s international network. Our goal is to ensure that patients, wherever they are, have a clear and straightforward pathway to medical specialists in Spain: from the initial enquiry and medical second opinion to treatment arrangements and comprehensive support during their stay.

Spain may seem far away on the map, but accessing medical care here has now become easier.
